DONATION PROPOSAL
PROCEDURE FOR THE DONATION OF ARTIFACT
It is impossible to show every item offered, the Musée Canadien de l’Arme et du Bronze has established an acquisition committee, whose function is to select the objects and ensure that they have a direct bearing on the various themes developed by the museum as part of its exhibits.
The Acquisition Committee carefully analyzes each donation proposal and in the event of a negative decision, an official of the Committee will provide coordinates of other museums who may be interested in the item.
Retrieving an artifact (firearm, works of art, stamps or coins) is usually carried out at the residence of the donor by a member of the Acquisition Committee.
For remote areas in Quebec (Abitibi, Lac St-Jean, Saguenay, Gaspé and North Shore), the shipment of artifacts is done by Purolator, a courier service that will safely deliver the artifact inside a maximum of 24 hours directly to the office of museum whose coordinated are:

When exhibited, each artifact will be identified by the name of its donor.
