For all contributions of money or property, a tax receipt is also issued. Limited free access to the museum[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=&#8221;Friends of the Museum&#8221;][vc_column_text]Volunteer for the museum\u2019s different expositions and activities[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][\/vc_accordion][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row opacity_overlay=&#8221;10&#8243; bg_color=&#8221;#f1f1f1&#8243; padding_top=&#8221;90&#8243; padding_bottom=&#8221;90&#8243; margin_bottom=&#8221;0&#8243;][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;]<h3 class=\"grve-element grve-align- grve-title-no-line\" style=\"\">TAX CONSIDERATIONS<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\">The Mus\u00e9e Canadien de l\u2019Arme et du Bronze is a registered non-profit organization authorized to issue official receipts for charitable donations, eligible for an income tax deduction on a tax return.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\">Tax deductions are calculated on the value of donations obtained by:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\">\n<li>Individuals<\/li>\n<li>Inheritance and other trusts<\/li>\n<li>Corporations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\"><strong>PLANNED DONATION<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\">A planned donation is part of a complete financial plan. It allows a donor to achieve their philanthropic vision and meet financial goals while benefiting from significant tax reductions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\">A planned donation allows for the most appropriate and easiest way to give to charity. There exists numerous way to donate, such as a donation left by will, life insurance, charitable annuity, etc&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\"><strong>DONATION OF PROPERTY<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\">Donations of property are charitable donations, as are monetary donations. These donations may be pieces of armory or works of art, such as sculptures, paintings, etc&#8230; The value of the donation is based on the value of the donated property. (See note)<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row opacity_overlay=&#8221;10&#8243; bg_color=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; padding_top=&#8221;90&#8243; padding_bottom=&#8221;90&#8243; margin_bottom=&#8221;0&#8243;][vc_column]<h3 class=\"grve-element grve-align- grve-title-no-line\" style=\"\">TAX RECEIPT ISSUED IN EXCHANGE FOR A DONATION<\/h3>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\"><strong>If you wish to legally dispose of your antique, modern or military firearms in accordance with the new firearm law, you may do so by making a donation to the Mus\u00e9e Canadien de l\u2019Arme et du Bronze. In addition to helping the Museum complete its collections, you will also receive a tax receipt for tax purposes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\">The Mus\u00e9e Canadien de l\u2019Arme et du Bronze is registered with Canada Customs and Revenue agency as a non-profit organization.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\">The Mus\u00e9e Canadien de l\u2019Arme et du Bronze can issue tax receipts for charitable donations of either cash and \/ or goods it receives, allowing donors to receive tax benefits.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #0e0e0e;\">In order to establish the true market value (TMV) of an item offered to our museum, an evaluation must be made by a recognized professional evaluator. The donor will then be recognized as having made a donation of a value equivalent to the true market value (TMV) of the item and will be eligible for a tax credit calculated based on that value.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row opacity_overlay=&#8221;10&#8243; bg_color=&#8221;#f1f1f1&#8243; padding_top=&#8221;90&#8243; padding_bottom=&#8221;90&#8243; margin_bottom=&#8221;0&#8243;][vc_column]<h3 class=\"grve-element grve-align- grve-title-no-line\" style=\"\">PROCEDURE FOR THE DONATION OF AN ARTIFACT<\/h3>[vc_column_text]It is impossible to show every item offered, the Mus\u00e9e Canadien de l\u2019Arme et du Bronze has established an acquisition committee.
